About me

Who am i?
.NET Engineer creating solutions that make a difference.
I’m Andres Perez, a software engineer based in Fort Pierce, Florida. I specialize in .NET development, with real-world experience delivering apps that connect, inform, and empower — from mobile tools for hospitals to enterprise portals for online universities.
My career began in healthcare, where I logged over 3,500 hours in clinical environments and built more than 10 years of experience in the industry. That foundation now fuels how I build software — with empathy, precision, and a focus on positive user impact. I’m also a committed mentor and trainer: I’ve led group trainings of up to 30 team members, trained more than half the staff at a diabetes and healthcare company, contributed to developer standards initiatives, and I’m currently coaching an intern.
I’ve developed hospital apps with a .NET and Azure backend which was featured on CBS News, maintained U.S. Navy readiness tools, and now build mission-critical platforms for Columbia Southern University, where I’m modernizing enterprise systems by transitioning front-end applications from ASP.NET to React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Whether it’s building healthcare apps or modernizing enterprise .NET systems, I aim to solve real problems through code.

My Skills
I’m a creative problem solver with a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development. I build full-stack web and mobile applications that are clean, scalable, and maintainable. My technical toolkit includes C#, ASP.NET Core (MVC/Razor), T-SQL/SQL Server, Azure, React, NextJS, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — tools I’ve used to ship real-world solutions across platforms.
Below are some of the key technologies I use in my work:
C#
I’ve been coding in C# since 2019, using it daily to build scalable web applications — you can see examples of this work in my portfolio.
T-SQL
I write efficient T-SQL queries and stored procedures to manage and retrieve relational data in SQL Server environments.
HTML / CSS / JavaScript
I build responsive front-end interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — using semantic markup and clean, maintainable code.
Let's work together!
I'm open to freelance projects. Let’s talk about how I can bring your next app or platform to life.

Bug Tracker
A full-stack issue tracking application built with ASP.NET Core, Razor Pages, and SQL Server. This project allows users to report, comment on, and monitor software bugs while giving admins the ability to assign and manage tickets.
Key features include role-based authentication, dynamic status updates, comment management, and custom Razor views for both users and admins. The system uses four core database tables (Users, Admins, Bugs, Comments) connected via Entity Framework to support a clean, scalable architecture.
